Deploy a shared table display

Deploy a shared table display to provide a standardized view of PCB design data for your organization.

  • Verify that the PcbApi_UI__PcbxConnect__Config environment variable is set to the user interface (UI) configuration folder, for example C:\pcbExchangeCloud\services\UI\pcbxConnect, following the instructions in Modify app environment variables.
  • Ensure that you have the write permission for the UI configuration folder.
  • Obtain the exported grid-headers-table name-grid.json file using the Export Grid Configuration command in an interactive table.
Note:
Do not rename the exported JSON file. NX PCB Exchange Connect uses the original filename to associate the display with the corresponding interactive table.
  1. Copy the exported JSON file to the UI configuration folder on the server hosting the API, for example C:\pcbExchangeCloud\services\UI\pcbxConnect.
  2. Verify that the deployed configuration is valid by checking the UI Configuration health check on the API health monitoring pages of the PcbExchange Services website.
  3. Clear the browser cache to ensure that the application retrieves the new shared table display.
  4. If personalized table displays already exist for the interactive tables in the application, clear the browser cache and reset the table display by selecting Reset Columns from the column menu.
